I had a bunch of cooked sweet potatoes that I wanted to use up. I used chili powder instead of flakes and added some turmeric. I also used green onions (about 4) and coconut oil. Since the sweet potatoes were cold out of the fridge, I mashed them a little and let them cook with the broth. Then I used my immersion blender. My kids liked it. It tastes a little like a sweet/spicy soup.

This is an excellent recipe.  I couldn't access my jerky recipe that was on another site, so I tried this, by using 1 cup soy sauce and 1/2 cup Worc. sauce. No red pepper flakes or cayenne though. It still had a little of a bite with the black pepper, but not too much. I did dehydrate it at 125, since I wouldn't have been home to turn it off. I did have almost 7 lbs of chicken breast and the amounts were right on. Will use this now. Thanks.

I won't rate as I changed it a lot, but it was a great base recipe that I will keep. I used CA veggies (a lot more than 1 C), more salt and pepper, added garlic and turmeric. Didn't have soup, so I used 8 oz tomato sauce and 8 oz milk. Also used cheddar cheese. The whole family enjoyed this. Thanks for posting!

This was really good and easy. I used Kittencal's 'Barbecue Honey Dipping Sauce' for the BBQ sauce and used boneless chops. I also only had a 20 oz can of pineapple chunks, so I took less of it and pureed it in the blender (to hide them). The sauce was so good that I put the rest back in with the BBQ sauce that was left and used again. Yum!

I was looking for a crockpot pork roast and had a can of jellied cranberry. I made French dressing and blended it with the cranberry to make a sauce. I'm not sure if I didn't use enough salt and pepper, but it wasn't a strong flavor. So next time I would maybe add more of the seasonings? I did take the juice after cooking and thickened it with arrowroot to pour over the roast. It was good.
