Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place beef in a large pot or Dutch oven.
Step 2
Add water and stir until blended.
Step 3
Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet.
Step 5
Saute onions, tomatoes, and bananas for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add to beef mixture.
Step 7
Add salt, pepper and rice.
Step 8
Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
