Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy; beat in the eggs and vanilla.

Step 3

Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; add gradually to the butter mixture.

Step 4

Fold in the macadamias and chocolate.

Step 5

Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

Step 6

Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until undersides are lightly golden.

Step 7

Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.

My band students had a bake sale today so I made these to contribute to the sale. They went so fast that I am glad I made a double batch. They are really delicious cookies and I put some aside for us to have at home. They are such a yummy treat!
