Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a bowl, sift 1 1/2 cups flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1 cup sugar three times.
Step 2
Into a cup, put 2 unbeaten egg whites. Add in soft butter in small pieces until cup is half fill, then fill with milk. ( i needed more milk just dont use those instructions i need like 3/4 cup milk)Pour into dry ingredients. Beat steadily for 7 minutes, then pour into a greased 8 inch square pan.
Step 3
Bake in a moderate (350 degrees) oven for 30 minutes.
