Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Step 2
Grease a tube pan.
Step 3
Mix brown sugar, water and shortening in sauce pan. Add spices and raisins. Mix and boil for 5 minutes after it 1st bubbles, remove from stove and let cool completely. Very important, when cool add flour and baking soda dissolved in boiling water.
Step 4
Pour into prepared pan bake for 1 hour.
