Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat butter, corn syrup and brown sugar until liquid. Pour into buttered Pam-sprayed 9x13 casserole

Step 2

Arrange bread slices on top of this, you may not use whole loaf use what you can ,the original recipe only had 6 slices and served 2 (you would be in a coma, Im just saying)

Step 3

In blender, combine remaining of the ingredients. Pour over the top

Step 4

Put cling wrap on top of this and stash in fridge overnight

Step 5

Bake in 350 degree oven 40 minutes uncovered until lightly browned

Delish! I only made 1 serving of this but will be making it again when my family is over for breakfast next time. When it bakes, it ends up with a bit of a custard-like 'surround'. It's a moister/softer french toast that I liked and I loved the flavors in this. They were subtle but really flavorful. Thanks for sharing another winner, Dee.
