Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 16 ounces French bread (cut into 2 inch slices)
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups light cream
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoons vanilla rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat butter, corn syrup and brown sugar until liquid. Pour into buttered Pam-sprayed 9x13 casserole

  • Step 2: Arrange bread slices on top of this, you may not use whole loaf use what you can ,the original recipe only had 6 slices and served 2 (you would be in a coma, Im just saying)

  • Step 3: In blender, combine remaining of the ingredients. Pour over the top

  • Step 4: Put cling wrap on top of this and stash in fridge overnight

  • Step 5: Bake in 350 degree oven 40 minutes uncovered until lightly browned
