Step by Step Method

Step 1

Saute celery and onion and mushrooms in butter.

Step 2

Combine all ingredients into a casserole dish.

Step 3

Cover then bake in oven a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Step 4

Sprinkle cashews on top the last half hour of cooking time.

Great way to use up leftover turkey! But it was a little bland. I added garlic, but think I'd like to add some broccoli and red bell pepper for color. Think this is a good "base" recipe to build off of. Thanks for sharing!

10 stars! Thank you, thamk you, thank you for finding this old recipe I used to make and then lost. Just as good as I remember it. Will become a leftover Thanksgiving turkey meal from now on. I did the oven version but will try the slow cooker next time.
