Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (they had jar of whole mushrooms )
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces dry rice (1 cup dry)
  • 17 1/2 ounces cooked turkey (4 cups cooked, diced)
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts (went up to a cup)
  • 2 cans (10.5 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • Soy sauce, dash (optional)
  • Worcestershire sauce, dash (optional)
  • 2 cups chicken broth

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute celery and onion and mushrooms in butter.

  • Step 2: Combine all ingredients into a casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Cover then bake in oven a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle cashews on top the last half hour of cooking time.
