Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Grease a 2 quart rectangle (8x11.5x2) baking dish and sprinkle with yellow cornmeal.
Step 3
While cooking the hamburger, mix all of the #2 ingredients together in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Step 4
After cooking and draining the hamburger, stir in the other #1 ingredients with the hamburger and mix well.
Step 5
Pour ½ the cornbread batter into the baking dish. (which is,ingredients #2)
Step 6
Add the meat mixture on top of that. (ingredients #1)
Step 7
Finish off with adding the rest of the cornbread batter on top of the meat mixture.
Step 8
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until done.
