Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Combine butter, sugar and vanilla, and blend well.
Step 3
Mix in flours, baking soda, salt and orange peel.
Step 4
Form dough into 1" balls and place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Step 5
Flatten each ball slightly, using a glass dipped in sugar.
Step 6
Bake until light golden brown, 10-14 minutes.
