"Easy quick recipe. You may substitute apple juice for the sherry. I like to add 3 cloves of minced garlic. If you are cutting the flank steak yourself have it half frozen for easy handling. Very nice served with rice."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Combine the steak with the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of oil. A zip lock bag works well

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in your wok or skillet, add beef, ginger and stir fry for 3 minutes

Step 3

Mix together the soy sauce, sherry, sugar and mixed cornstarch, add to beef

Step 4

Stir fry 1 minute longer or until the sauce has thickened, add onions and serve
