The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound flank steak cut to suit stir fry
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or splenda
  • 3 tablespoons sherry
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch, disolved in 2 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 3 green onions, white and green cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the steak with the cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of oil. A zip lock bag works well

  • Step 2: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in your wok or skillet, add beef, ginger and stir fry for 3 minutes

  • Step 3: Mix together the soy sauce, sherry, sugar and mixed cornstarch, add to beef

  • Step 4: Stir fry 1 minute longer or until the sauce has thickened, add onions and serve
