Step by Step Method

Step 1

Wash spinach. Drain well and remove heavy stems and ribs.

Step 2

Place spinach in a large saucepan.

Step 3

Add rosemary and green onion, and toss lightly.

Step 4

Cover and cook over medium heat until spinach is wilted, 3-4 minutes, shaking pot frequently.

Step 5

Drain excess liquid.

Step 6

Add salt, butter and lemon juice, and toss to mix.

A very interesting way to make spinach plus it uses items I grow -- rosemary from the garden and subbed chives for the green onions! Forgot the salt but it was fine without. Thanks for sharing!
