"This is an old recipe that used to be printed inside a box of Lipton vegetable soup mix. I serve it inside a pumpernickle bread. Just hollow it out, pour the dip inside and serve it with the bread you took out."

Very simple, throw together dip - I added some chopped artichoke hearts. I warmed it slightly before serving. Served with rice crackers and rosemary crostini crackers.
