Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix flour, 1/4 cup water, eggs with seasonings with a whisk until smooth.

Step 2

Over boiling water, press batter through a colander.

Step 3

When the pieces float to the top, remove and keep warm.

Step 4

Serve with butter or gravy.

Lovely light pillows of pasta. Fast & easy to make, although had a wee bit of problem with holding the strainer and pushing the dough through. So what I did was drizzle the mixture off the side of the strainer right into the boiling water, and it worked like a charm. Great soup noodles! Thanks for sharing! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

I made this as directing but using sage instead of nutmeg as I was adding this to a chicken soup. I boiled them in the soup and they turned out beautifully. This is a keeper recipe, another winner from this Zazzite. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game.
