"Found @ portuguesedinerdotcom (aka Tia Maria's Blog for the Portuguese Foodie). Maria Dias & her daughter (Lisa Dias) are co-authors of TASTE PORTUGAL, 101 EASY PORTUGUESE RECIPES (Volume 1). -- Here's what they had to say: "Sonhos are light & fluffy doughnut-like pastries that melt in your mouth! Generally, they’re served around the Holidays but this popular fried pastry has become a favorite at nearly every Portuguese celebration." If you could see the pic I can see on the recipe page, you'd understand why that's true. Times & yield were not given & were estimated by me, but do not include cooling time. ENJOY!"
