Tips & Variations

No special items needed.

I did all the prep before cooking and this came together very quickly. Love the flavour of the sauce, but found that it needed a wee touch of salt, so used soy sauce. Reduced the red pepper flakes to 1/2 tsp which is perfect for us. And had to sub the snow peas for sugar snap peas. We both thoroughly enjoyed this and will be made again for sure. Thanks Ellie for another keeper! Made for Billboard Recipe Tag.

Scaled this back for 2 serves and the DS and I thoroughly enjoyed this spicy dish. I couldn't get lamb mince/ground but picked up some heart smart very lean lamb steaks on special and processed them in the food processor to make my mince. The only change I would make next time is to remember to add a touch less red pepper flakes as mine, which was given to me by my neighbour which she makes herself is super hot. Thank you ellie for a lovely dinner, made for Billboard Recipe tag game.
