"This had a pound of ground veal I'm just using beef. They didn't saute veggies, I am. They also baked in loaf pan 60 minutes. And then inverted it into larger pan. I'm not doing that nonsense, mine may not need as much cooking time....check because it bakes 30 minutes more with sauce on."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Saute veggies in butter until tender

Step 3

Meanwhile, mix rest of ingredients together.

Step 4

Add veggies and mix.

Step 5

Season to taste and mix.

Step 6

Form a loaf in 9x9 pan.

Step 7

Bake until almost done 60 minutes. (I would check at 45 minutes)

Step 8

Mix sauce.

Step 9

Drain grease from meatloaf and top with sauce.

Step 10

Bake 30 minutes more until done.
