Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup onions, minced
  • 1/2 cup celery, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Sauce
  • 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup (1 can)
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce
  • 1/2 cup catsup

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: Saute veggies in butter until tender

  • Step 3: Meanwhile, mix rest of ingredients together.

  • Step 4: Add veggies and mix.

  • Step 5: Season to taste and mix.

  • Step 6: Form a loaf in 9x9 pan.

  • Step 7: Bake until almost done 60 minutes. (I would check at 45 minutes)

  • Step 8: Mix sauce.

  • Step 9: Drain grease from meatloaf and top with sauce.

  • Step 10: Bake 30 minutes more until done.
