"A recipe that is tender and tangy and you can enjoy anytime of the year. Serve on kaiser or hamburger buns with a side of cole slaw and pickles and your meal is complete. Great for a group of people. I found this recipe a few years back in a magazine. (a great meal that you can serve after the holidays after all the big meals and just need something slightly different, this would just fit the bill.)"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a dutch oven brown the roast on all sides in 1 tablespoon oil
Step 2
In a large saucepan, saute onions in remaining oil until tender
Step 3
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat. simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes stirring occasionally
Step 4
Pour over roast Cover and bake in oven at 325F for 2 hours.
Step 5
Turn the roast and bake for another 2 hours or until roast is very tender
Step 6
Remove roast, shredd with a fork and return to the sauce
Step 7
Serve on rolls
