" I made this recipe as a side dish last Christmas. The roasting and combination of garlic, fennel seeds and lemon give these olives a heavenly flavor. We Loved them. I found the original recipe on "what's Cooking America". Use a good quality of olives."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350f
Step 2
In an oven proof dish large enough to accomodate the olives in a single layer, pour in the olives
Step 3
Spread the garlic and lemon slices among the olives, drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle on the fennel seeds.
Step 4
Place in the oven, bake for 45 minutes, stir the olives several times while they are baking
Step 5
Refrigerate after bking and serve cold or at room temperature.
