Step by Step Method
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in Warm water.
Step 2
Add buttermilk, eggs, 2 1/2 cup flour, butter, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix till smooth.
Step 3
Add enough remaining dough to make dough easily handled. Dough will remain soft and slightly sticky.
Step 4
Turn out onto well floured surface and knead 5 minutes.
Step 5
Beat icing ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
Step 6
Roll dough into two 12x7 inch rectangles and spread with half of the orange icing.
Step 7
Roll up, starting at the wide side. Pinch edge of rolls to seal well.
Step 8
Cut each roll into 12 slices and place in greased round pans.
Step 9
Let rise until doubled.
Step 10
Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Step 11
Frost with remaining icing while still warm.
