"Bess served these to her grandkids .actually her cook made them for them . The chocolate squares are smaller now make sure you use 4 ounces Cook at 350° for about forty minutes .were the only instructions given (they didnt say what kind of nuts probably what they had. alot of black walnuts were used back in the day"

Beat into creamed mixture

Pour into buttered cake pan (already prepared)

Bake for 45 minutes

Let cool and put into tin with wax paper on bottom,in between and on top with wax paper hanging out of edges of tin.
