Step by Step Method

Step 1

Wash greens very well so no sand is on them

Chop the radishes off and save for later

In boiling water, Add bacon.

Cabbage 10 minutes

Take greens out and put in bowl save broth

Heat lard in large stock pot

Add onions,green onions, radishes that have been chopped

Add the greens

Fry the drained chopped greens

When well fried add flour

Brown the flour (can add browned flour)

Add greens broth

Step 15

Add ham hocks

Step 16

Add herbs and rest of seasoning

Cook on simmer for 2 hours stirring occasionally
