Step 1

In dutch oven

Step 2

Heat ground beef butter and onions

Cook until browned

Drain if needed

Add garlic

And seasoning

Add tomato soup over top rinse can with water

Add beans

Add tomatoes (said to add just before serving ,I'm not )

You may need to add water while cooking WATCH

Simmer very low for 2 hours or put over coals on campfire

This took me back to my childhood. This is the same way that my mom made chili. We had this dish every Friday night during the winter. lol. My mom was a young housewife during the Eisenhower era so I wonder if this recipe was published back then. Thanks for a nice meal and trip down memory lane, Dee.
