Step by Step Method
Step 1
Put sugar in gallon size crock, squeeze lemons, save rinds and set aside.
Step 2
Strain juice into crock.
Step 3
Heat 4 cups water to boiling water, pour over rinds and strain into crock immediately.
Step 4
Boil 4 more cups water, steep tea and then strain into crock.
Step 5
Fill crock with remaining 8 cups of water.
Step 6
Stir well.
Step 7
Do not refrigerate until tea has cooled to room temperature.
