"Adapted from Bread Machine Magic. This has a lovely crisp crust. You can substitute softened butter for the oil. Time will vary according to your machine. This makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf. Prep time does not include time to make the mashed potatoes (assuming leftovers will be used, although I have made them specifically for this recipe.)"

This is certainly a lovely bread with great texture. I don’t own a bread maker, so transformed it to the traditional manner, doubled the recipe and turned them into rolls for sandwiches (resulting in 1 dozen sandwich sized rolls). To compensate from ABM to traditional, increased the moisture a touch. Used leftover mashed potatoes and for the flour used half bread flour and half whole wheat. It came out so tasty and the texture came out full bodied and springy, making great tasting sandwiches, way better than store-bought bread. Thank you, Chocolatll, for sharing. Made it for Pick Me and What's on the Menu tag games.
