"This has always been one of my "kid's favorites" recipes. First with my own two kids and now it's one of the most requested from my grandkids! Don't tell anyone -- but it's also one of my favorites, too!!!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.

Step 2

Add the ground beef and mix well. Shape meat into 1 1/2 inch balls.

Step 3

Heat oil in a large skilled and browm the meatballs. After the meatballs have browned in all sides, drain the oil and fat.

Step 4

In a medium sized bowl, combine the tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over the meatballs in the skillet.

Step 5

Reduce heat; cover and simmer for about 1 hour.

Step 6

NOTE: We like extra sauce and like it a little on the thick side. I do another 1/2 recipe of the sauce ingredients and I also add about a tablespoon of rice to the sauce. This can also works quite well in an electric skillet.
