"This recipe was given to my family by a friend. We've made it many times for potluck dinners. Mushrooms, bell pepper, or other favorite pizza toppings can be added with the meat."

Step 1

Cook ground beef and 1 medium chopped onion. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce. Add oregano and garlic powder. Salt. Pour into ungreased 13X9 inch pan. Top with 10 oz Monterey Jack cheese.

Step 2

Combine eggs, milk, and oil. Add flour and salt. Beat with whisk until smooth. Pour batter evenly over cheese and meat mixture. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Step 3

Bake at 400º about 30-40 minutes.

Derf "RIP" Forever in our Kitchen

Very nice, easy Saturday night supper, we enjoyed it but felt it could have more seasoning, the burger part seemed a wee bit bland. I just made half a recipe and will freeze the other two servings. I will make it again but will add extra seasoning and maybe some more onion and some fresh tomato or other veggie.   The yorkshire type topping was really delicious.  Thanks for posting.
