"This is a bit different of a recipe but so yummy. And no, it does not have plums but I am still calling it plum sauce. I love this with egg rolls and fried wontons. Great if this recipe can be made in advance to allow the flavors to blend. My Chef friend gave me this a very long time ago. "

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Choose the pepper you wish to use and bring to a boil the first 7 ingredients mixing well

Step 2

In a bowl mix the water and cornstarch together and mix into the mixture and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool. Put in container and cover and refrigerate. Make at least 1 day in advance to let flavors blend. Shake before serving
