Step by Step Method
Step 1
Slice the bread loaf about two-thirds of the way through (I use an electric knife for slicing).
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the butter with minced garlic, mixing until soft and fluffy.
Step 3
Spread butter generously on both sides of the slices (save some for the top of loaf).
Step 4
Brush remaining butter over the top of loaf, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Step 5
Wrap loaf tightly in a large piece of foil (this is where you can just place into the refrigerator until ready to warm and serve it).
Step 6
Bake 400 degrees (preheated oven) for 15-20 minutes.
