"A variation of the old standby-Sloppy Joes."

Step 1

In a skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in pizza sauce and oregano.

Step 2

In a food processor, chop onion, pepper, pepperoni; add to beef mixture. Simmer 20-25 minutes.

Step 3

Spoon onto buns, top with cheese and mushrooms. Serve immediately.

We loved this...I cut the recipe in half and it made 4 servings...this makes an excellent quick weeknight meal...I toasted the buns...made for "Pick Me" tag game...

Excellent! The family really loved this variation of sloppy joes. This is definitely a great weeknight meal - quick to the table. It's very versatile and could be stretched for a few more diners by doubling the recipe or even by adding some Italian sausage. A few black olives would be nice too. It's a keeper! Thanks Mikekey!

We loved these Sloppy Joes. My hubby had 3 so I know we will have these again! It was like having pizza twice, since we had pizza last night too!
