"Each time I find a new food blogger site, it's usually because I'm drawn to it by finding a single appealing recipe that I decide I want to share. Then there's the "ck'ing things out" time when I either lose interest or find more treasures that make me a "follower". It happened again this morning at therookiecookiedotcom. My on-line cooking friends & I have been looking at new crockpot models & recipes for them, so finding this gem seemed like fate. I admit it's a bit seasonal, but it almost makes you welcome that 1st chill of winter & the holidays you know will follow it. It's not limited to the holidays, however, & its optional garnishes can tell your story -- Mini-marshmallows for the chilly fall & winter nights & roughly broken peppermint candy for the holidays. This is NOT a diet-friendly recipe, but it sure works if you want to pamper yourself, family or friends. ENJOY!"
