Step 1

Cream butter and sugars.

Step 2

Add peanut butter and eggs; beat well. add vanilla.

Step 3

Sift flour and baking powder add to mixture.

Step 4

Roll into 80 balls. Press with floured fork in 2 directions to flatten.

Step 5

Bake in oven it says 175 degrees (but I feel this is typo, I'm guessing 375 degrees 10 minutes).

These were the first pb cookies I made which turned out beautifully. I used natural peanut butter, the kind where the oil separates when you let it stand. Also I used gluten free flour (mix of sorghum and white rice flour and potato and tapioca starch), also I reduced the sugar a bit because I'm not so sweet toothed. They baked up wonderfully at 160° Celsius in a convection oven (fan assisted) in 13 minutes. Thanks for sharing, this will be my all time peanut butter cookie recipe now!!
