"A yummy tropical drink from Trinidad/Tobago. I grew up with a passionfruit vine in my San Diego backyard, but the vine finally died and I never purchased them because they were so expensive at the grocery store! But here in Costa Rica, they grow everywhere, so now I'm searching for passionfruit recipes. This is a good one!"

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cut the top off each passionfruit and scoop out the pulp and juice. Strain the juice and use a spoon to scrape against the side of the strainer to get the juice out of the pulp.
Step 2
In a pitcher combine the juice with the rum, sugar, and ice. Stir well. (When I make a single serving, I use a cocktail shaker)
Step 3
Pour the mixture into 4 glasses. Add a dash of bitters and sprinkle nutmeg over each. Serve.
