Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 passion fruit, ripe (or 1 cup passion fruit juice)
  • 4 ounces rum
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 2 cups ice, crushed
  • Angostura bitters
  • Freshly grated nutmeg

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut the top off each passionfruit and scoop out the pulp and juice. Strain the juice and use a spoon to scrape against the side of the strainer to get the juice out of the pulp.

  • Step 2: In a pitcher combine the juice with the rum, sugar, and ice. Stir well. (When I make a single serving, I use a cocktail shaker)

  • Step 3: Pour the mixture into 4 glasses. Add a dash of bitters and sprinkle nutmeg over each. Serve.
