" This is such an easy recipe and it is very tasty. A pint of oysters is just right for 2 servings, (there are usually 6-8 large oysters in a pint). I like to use an extra large muffin tin and do each oyster separately but you may also do them all in one pan. This recipe could also be used as an appetizer serving one oyster per person"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees

Step 2

Mix together the peppers, onion, garlic, hotsauce and black pepper,

Step 3

Place the oysters in a lightly oil sprayed oven proof pan. I use a large muffin tin placing one oyster in each compartment

Step 4

Distribute the chopped pepper mixture evenly over the oysters

Step 5

Mix the crumbs and cheese together and sprinkle the crumbs over the pepper onion covered oysters

Step 6

Bake in 375 oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden

Step 7

Squeeze on lemon juice and serve
