"This recipe is from a very old cookbook from any years back. Parmesan or Gruyère cheese could be used to add extra flavour to the oysters. Maybe a firmer lettuce like coz would be more suitable in the recipe."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Sauté the bacon & shallots in a frying pan for 2 minutes and then drain.
Step 2
Combine the cheese, bacon mix and Worcestershire sauce and seasoning in a bowl.
Step 3
Place the oysters on a baking sheet and top with a spoonful of cheese mix.
Step 4
Grill until the cheese has melted and browned. Serve on the lettuce, garnished with sprigs of parsley.
