Step 1

In a large glass pitcher combine the lemon juice and sugar; stir vigorously until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add in the cold water and food colouring; stir well. Adjust the sugar to taste. Add in lots of ice cubes.

Step 2

Add in the lemon slices to the pitcher and serve.

Nothing is more refreshing on a HOT summers day then ice cold lemonade! Delicious! Just the right mount of sweet & sour makes this recipe great. I could have made green lemonade as that was the only food coloring I had in my pantry. Made for Aphabet Soup tag.
