"This is just another meatloaf recipe---everyone makes them. I think that meatloaf should be proclaimed the national food of the USA. I do like this one as I keep going back to it. It makes a lot (yes, the amount of meat is correct) so you can freeze a couple or invite people and have a feast. Also, when I make this, I also make Stuffed Peppers with a portion it. I save some out and add some cooked rice, spaghetti sauce, and parmesan cheese. It is so good."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

MEATLOAF: Mix all the ingredients for the meatloaf together; shape into a large loaf and put into a greased baking dish; bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour, basting occasionally with pan juices.

Step 2

SAUCE: In a saucepan, on the stove, mix the ingredients for the sauce; bring to a medium boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes; serve warm with a ladle a the table.

This is a delicious meatloaf. The sauce added a nice taste to the meatloaf. We had mashed potatoes and broccoli with cheese to go with it. We will be repeating this one!
