Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

Sift dry ingredients together.

Step 3

Blend the shortening into the flour using a fork.

When uniform crumbly consistency, make a well in the center.

Don’t stir any longer or the biscuits will be tough.

Drop by large spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet .
