Make Ahead Dry Gravy Mix
Recipe: #17319
February 11, 2015
"I found this recipe in TOH's Cooking for Two. It was sent to them by Edie DeSpain of Logan,Utah. I HIGHLY recommend that you do use reduced-sodium chicken bouillon granules(read: it's WAY TOO MUCH salt if you use the regular like I did). Also, if you can't find reduced sodium bouillon granules, mix up the dry mix as directed and use 1 tablespoon gravy mix AND 1 tablespoon flour to prepare the gravy. If you want beef gravy, just sub beef bouillon granules for the chicken. This makes 1 cup of dry gravy mix, which equals 8 batches. Each prepared batch equals 3/4 cup gravy.
