Step by Step Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In large bowl

Combine egg, oats, milk, onion, celery, peppers, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic salt and pepper.

Let set 10 minutes

Add meat and mix well.

Lightly pat mixture into an 8-by-4-by-2-inch loaf pan.

Spread on ketchup

Bake in preheated oven 1 hour and 15 minutes

Remove from oven.
Step 10
Drain off any excess fat.
Step 11
Spread french fried onions over meatloaf, return to oven and bake another 10 minutes.
Step 12
Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
