Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix crumbs, sugar, cocoa, macadamia nuts, and salt in a bowl.
Step 2
In a small bowl whisk the honey, rum extract, and 4 tablespoons of the water until mixed well.
Step 3
Add this to the dry ingredients and stir until it clumps together easily. Add up to 1 tablespoon of water if you need to make it moist enough to stick together. Don't make it so moist that it falls apart.
Step 4
Roll the mixture into one-inch balls with your hands. Then roll the balls in coconut to coat them.
Step 5
Place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours to firm them up.
