Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix bouillon in water and stir.

Step 2

In a saucepan, melt the butter .

Slowly stream the bullion flavored water into the roux constantly whisking to prevent lumps.

Step 5

Once smooth, turn down to a gentle simmer and stir to prevent a skin forming.

Step 7

Taste and add salt and pepper as needed.
