Step by Step Method

Meatballs:

2 slices bread, soaked in milk and squeezed dry
Step 3
Mix together beef, pork, parsley, half the onion, 1 tablespoon flour, eggs, bread, salt and pepper.
Step 4
Shape into spheres the size of golf balls.
Step 5
Simmer in salted water with bay leaf, allspice and onion for 30 minutes.
Step 6
To Thicken broth with 3 tablespoons flour.
Step 7
Remove 1/2 cup broth and mix with flour until smooth.
Step 8
Remove bay leaf
Step 9
Return to pan and blend well.
Step 10
Simmer for several minutes until thickened
Step 11
Remove from heat, and stir in cream.
Step 12
Season to taste
Step 13
Serve over boiled potatoes.
Step 14
Sprinkle with parsley
