Step 1: Meatballs:
Step 2: 2 slices bread, soaked in milk and squeezed dry
Step 3: Mix together beef, pork, parsley, half the onion, 1 tablespoon flour, eggs, bread, salt and pepper.
Step 4: Shape into spheres the size of golf balls.
Step 5: Simmer in salted water with bay leaf, allspice and onion for 30 minutes.
Step 6: To Thicken broth with 3 tablespoons flour.
Step 7: Remove 1/2 cup broth and mix with flour until smooth.
Step 8: Remove bay leaf
Step 9: Return to pan and blend well.
Step 10: Simmer for several minutes until thickened
Step 11: Remove from heat, and stir in cream.
Step 12: Season to taste
Step 13: Serve over boiled potatoes.
Step 14: Sprinkle with parsley
