Jailhouse Donuts
" I worked, for a number of years, in a Women's correctional facility and part of that time I was in charge of the kitchen. Jailhouse donuts were a regular dessert treat because they could be made with ingredients that we had on hand. They are surprisingly good. Do not soak them in the egg mixture and be sure that the oil temperature comes back up to 375 between batches"
