Step by Step Method
Step 1
Melt butter in top of double boiler over boiling water, add flour and cook until smooth.
Step 2
Add milk gradually and stir until thickened.
Step 3
Pour in cream, cover and cook slowly for 10 minutes, stirring often.
Step 4
Mix mayonnaise, catsup, dill pickles and seasonings, (use the amount of salt you like ) then add to the sauce.
Step 5
Add the tuna, tomatoes, and eggs.
Step 6
Simmer 5 minutes.
